Therapy
I often tell clients that my goal is to be put out of a job: I want to make sure you get the skills you need and heal the wounds from the past so that you can thrive on your own!
I offer a free phone consultation so that we can make sure we're a good fit. Come to me with any questions you may have! If we end up not being a good fit, I will offer referrals.
During our first session, I will ask you questions to get a full picture of what brings you in. Towards the end of this first session, we will collaborate on a personalized plan to meet the goals you have for therapy.
During the following sessions, I often provide resources, coping skills, handouts, and analogies to help you get the most out of your time. Typically, we meet more consistently in the beginning (i.e., once a week); and then, as you begin to feel more secure and anchored, we enter a maintenance phase and meet less frequently.
I use EMDR therapy along with other therapy modalities (CBT, DBT, and IFS) in an effort to reduce the symptoms that negatively impact your life. While EMDR therapy is one of my main modalities, I do not always incorporate it. It's important to me that every person who comes into the therapy space feels seen and is given a personalized treatment plan.
It would be an honor to hold this space for you.

EMDR Intensives
If you are motivated to reduce intense or severe symptoms efficiently, an EMDR intensive may be for you. This is a powerful way to do deep healing work in a short amount of time. I like to describe it as an intentional personal retreat where we spend several hours a day together over the course of several days.
This format allows you to process trauma and painful experiences without the constant stop-and-start of weekly therapy sessions. It’s especially helpful if you’re dealing with a single incident trauma or the layers of
a more complex history of trauma. An EMDR intensive gives you the space to move forward without interruption.
If you're a teacher, student, or have a demanding job, EMDR intensives can be a great fit—allowing you to do deep healing during a winter, spring, or summer break; or whenever time off is available. For those with inflexible schedules, intensives offer a way to address symptoms quickly and effectively so you can return to work or school feeling more grounded and focused.
While intensives are not easy and are not for everyone, I have seen them be transformative for my clients. If you are interested, feel free to reach out and we can develop a personalized intensive that best fits your needs for healing and growth.

EMDR Consultation
EMDR-trained therapists: have you already started the process towards EMDR certification and are feeling stuck when it comes to finishing the consultation hours? I have had several consultees who express this to me.
I have worked with several EMDR trainers and currently help train therapists in EMDR Basic Trainings. My experience includes: EMDR Intensives, EMDR groups, complex trauma, anxiety & OCD, attachment & childhood trauma, ongoing traumatic stress, and integrating IFS with EMDR. In addition, I have what I call an "EMDR Vault" filled with advanced protocols, notes from advanced trainings, reviews of each EMDR phase, and even recorded EMDR sessions.
Whether it’s 5 or 20 hours, I would love to help you get the consultation hours you need! You can find the requirements for EMDR certification on the EMDRIA website.
I offer both individual consultation and group consultation. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. I offer a free 15 minute consult to make sure we’re a good fit!

ESA Letter Assessments
Pictured here is my dog, Bandit. While she's not an Emotional Support Animal (ESA), I understand the significant impact animals can have on our mental health. I offer ESA letter assessments specifically for housing accommodations. You can find more information on ESAs and ESA letters here.
